|Trying to find who to contact to do a Gallifreyan Wedding at DragonCon 2012!

Dragon*Con British Science Fiction and Media
This is mostly 2 letters we wrote to the brit-track staff director address we found on the Brit-Track Site. As there were no other addresses, we decides to start hitting the sundry related message boards as well...
You might remember us from DragonCon 2011. I was the guy that made a DragonConTV bumper of my very own, and got them to show it to a 2000 person-packed ballroom in the Westin during the intermission between the Buffy Horror Picture Show and Doctor Horrible. You can actually see that on youtube if you like, right here:
So, like the Trailer and the Title of this mail says, we'd like to do a Doctor Who-themed wedding, or at least a Gallifreyan one. And we'd like to coordinate with you guys in the BritTrack so that it can be an event at DragonCon people can see in the grid and come to if they want to take part. Hell, I have little fantasy visions of all the fandoms pitching in a little. Her dad walking her up the aisle, flanked by alternating members of the 501st Legion and Jedi with ForceFX sabers drawn Browncoats, Colonials and Wizarding folk in the seats behind the family and wedding guests. Or perhaps the aisle could be flanked by all 11 doctors if we could get them... (or maybe 12 doctors by that time, who knows...) That ginchy Tardis prop that those nice people bring every year set up behind the altar... Flanked by Groomsmen and Bridesmaids in rented graduation/choir robes with Time Lord Head and Shoulder pieces on...
And of course, the coup de grace... if we were able to convince the fellow to participate, have a doctor's actor actually officiate the ceremony. Like they did with the Battlestar Galactica wedding recently at DragonCon where you had Edward James Olmos, Mary McDonnell and Richard Hatch show up and conduct a Colonial wedding in character. Of course, we have no idea whether anyone who's played the Doctor is actually coming this year. I get the idea that Sylvester McCoy had a lovely time last year and might want to come back again. And even then, I'm not sure how we'd ask whichever actor might come, or how we'd get in touch with them...
(Sylvester McCoy flirted with my sweetie in the audience on his panel on DragonCon Monday 2011. Someone asked him, as he was sallying back and forth all over the audience, "Which companion from another Doctor's time would you want to travel with your Doctor?" The person who asked was right beside us, so he sort of comes up to her and says with a somewhat comic leer, "I'd choose YOU." General laugh as he catches sight of my Fiancee'. "Oh. And you too!")
This is of course where you guys in the BritTrack come in. We thought to start coordinating with you near the end of 2011 DragonCon. And we were told to start getting in touch around January of 2012 when the ball for September 2012 was getting started rolling. So... this is us getting in touch. If we could do this as an event at DragonCon this year, what do you expect from us in the way of coordination? Keeping you in the loop? Etc? What must WE do for you guys to get things started?
We actually have our room booked at the Sheraton already. So that's well in hand. We just got one hell of a sewing machine for Christmas, so we'll be able to start construction on our Gallifreyan wedding robes as soon as we finalize a design. The other night, Jenn (For t'is her name.) was telling me how we might have to make several trips down there to Atlanta in order to get some things set up. IE: Cake and other things I'm not entirely aware of... She's getting a wedding planner soon so we can get the ball rolling on our end as well.
Anyway, I need to go to work soon. You can post to us here on livejournal, or in the yahoo group. Do let us know what you think. Can this be done? Has it been done before? What should we be doing to make this easier for you to say 'Yes! Let's do this!'? Please do get in touch...
Thanks in advance, and we're looking forward to seeing you there!

We don't know how often you're checking this address, but here's an update on our situation.
We have The Marietta Strand Theater rented for the reception off-site, but since we need to plan this way in advance, my bride to be's parents are really looking to coordinate and get the ball rolling. IE: If we can't have the wedding itself at DragonCon, do we need to rent the theater we mean to get married in? And the longer we wait, the more expensive that will be.
We're starting the design of the wedding robes for myself and herself. Preliminary drawings are in the works. This is going to be costuming on a level that we'd like to enter ourselves in the costume contest, march in the parade, attend the photoshoot, and attend the masquerade in our gallifreyan wedding regalia.
But we need to start coordinating with you guys as far as getting plans started up, wedding-wise. Is getting married in a Gallifreyan themed ceremony even something we'd be permitted to do during the con? We're aiming for Friday, as our guests won't have to stay all that long after unless they're sci fi geek enough to want to like we will be. (We dead dog it every year!)
If you're not the person we need to speak with, and we need to speak to the con-gods instead, do you have e-mail addresses we should be sending to instead? I CC'd the letter (slightly altered) I sent you last to the Yahoo group, but we didn't hear back. My next step was to spam the Facebook, Myspace, And livejournal groups too. What's the best way to reach you? And if you're not who we should be contacting, who should we be speaking to?
We spoke all too briefly during the con, and I fear you may have forgot us completely in the nonce. You were quite busy after all, or at least so it says on the BritTrack site. Please do get in touch with us ASAP so we can start making plans, or find out who we ought to be making plans with among the Con Gods. I hate to be pushy, but I've got a bride to be AND a soon to be mother in law getting a bit antsy on the matter. We'll be checking the boards for any kind of reply.
We hope so much you can help us. We've said since we met we'd like to be married at DragonCon since the idea of marriage was first broached. That we'd like it to be Whovian even more so. We hope to hear from you soon.

Can any of you help us get the ball rolling? -E&J
